Icarus Florida UltraFest Event Course

The Icarus Florida UltraFest course is a loop course traversing through Synder Park in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The loop is completely paved, flat and shaded, and 1.0408 Km (USATF certification FL14002DL). With one main aid station and drop bag set up, organized along the loop course, runners with have everything they need every 1 Km. Before they enter the aid station area (or pass by), runners will be logged in and official times registered by race timing officials. 

The course is USATF and IAAF certified and the race is USATF was sanctioned every year since the beginning of the race in order to have all results ratified both at national and international level. Furthermore, the race received a IAU Bronze Level label. The race will offer qualifying options for the World 24 hours Championship and the Spartathlon. 

Due to the 2020 Covid19 developments we are hoping to be able to have the race sanctioned for this year as well. Unfortunately at the moment everything is pending due to the fluid situation regarding Covid19 and races. 

We will update the sanctioning issue as soon as we will have an answer. 

Snyder Park is also very close to local hotels, restaurants and grocery stores should runners want any additional supplies to those offered by race management.
